Hines Ward is #1
All time receiever in Steelers history. Sunday evening he surpassed John Stallworth for first place in only 8 seasons. Hines currently has 543 which is six more than Stallworth who played with the Steelers for 13 seasons. Also, keep in mind when the Steelers drafted Ward they selectected Troy Edwards and Plaxico Burress the next two seasons due to uncertainty of how Hines would perform. I think it's safe to say he has snuffed the uncertainty and now will go down as one of the best Steelers players of all time. Story: Hines Ward

Bravo Stonecold. Thank you for taking the time to address the accomplishments of the most prolific receiver on one of the most storied franchises in NFL history. What Hines Ward has done in his eight years with the Pittsburgh Steelers is nothing short of amazing, especilly considering some of the terrible quarterbacks they have had not in his tenure. The other thing that must be mentioned is his total joy and love of the game and the level of intensity at which he plays the game. He is one of the harest hitting and best blocking recievers of all time and has only missed 1 game his entire football career do to injury going back to high school. He is truly amazing and I thank you for mentioning him in your blog and including the article about his accomplishments.
As a Steeler fan, I am gratful to have a guy like Hines Ward instead of a jerk like TO. Thanks for mentioning it.
