Stan Van Gundy, Why did he leave?

As you can tell by the picture on my left, Stan Van Gundy,AKA Ron Jeremy has left his head coaching job with the Miami Heat to make more porn movies. He seemed to have lost that loving feeling and wants to jump back into it. I'm kidding ofcourse but they do look alike. Go Hedge hog!!!

Ron Artest is Crazy

Not only did Artest screw his team last year, the f...ing crybaby calls out his coach and team and demands a trade. This is simply one case of a total "loser athlete" who doesn't deserve the money he gets. He should be banned from the NBA and have him work on his rapping album. Ron, you're a disgrace and shouldn't get another dime from the league.

Would you golf with these Turkey's?

It seems that this foursome has taken the world by storm. They are well known as the hustling foursome. If you happen to see them at your local golf course, watch out!!! Please stay away from them.

Richard Pryor Dead at 65

I really didn't know a whole lot about Richard Pryor. I saw Brewster's Millions and thought it was a cool movie but his comedy acts I was never allowed to watch in the 70's or 80's because I wasn't old enough. He died recently of a heart attack and had a long fight with MS. I've seen so many sports figures, comedians etc...reach out to show their appreciation for Richard Pryor. He changed the comedic world for what it is today. The Chris Rocks, Eddie Murphy's, he made it better and a whole lot easier for them to do their thing. On the surface you would think that this guy is a saint and a man to look up to. But, I read some troublesome articles on him today.

He was the son of a Prostitute Mom and his grandmother was the madam. He indulged in drugs for most of his life, which many famous people do anyway. But the thing that really got to me is that he was married five times and beat his wives. How can we look up to someone like that? How can we thank someone like that? If you're a man and you beat woman, you should be put in jail. Instead, people are celebrating his life for his accomplishments and no one has mentioned that he was a wife beater. I think people should know and why? There are thousands of men out there that beat their wives and some even take it a step further. For anyone who does this, your all freaking cowards, bottom line.

So we can thank Richard Pryor for his comedic talent but that's it. He was a coward as well and should always be known as one. Don't beat women, it's not worth it and it's flat out classless.

Red Wings Player Happy to Be Alive

November 21 Jiri Fischer was laid out on the ice trying to be revived by a defibrillator while his heart stopped for an unknown amount of time. It's not even a month later and he is doing much better, but not sure if he will play hockey again. Today in a press conference he talked about how happy he is to have a second chance.

Ron Artest Wants Out

He has requested to be traded from the Indiana Pacers and it seems they are going to work with him. I'm not really sure how many teams will be interested because of his personality issues, but he is one talented player. Stay tuned on this one.

More to the story than being said

Is what is going down in Miami. It has been rumored for months that Riley would take over for the Heat and today Stan Van Gundy stepped down as head coach. Van Gundy sited personal reasons of wanting to spend more time with his family, but he just realize he is a busy man now? I think Riley told him to go home and spend more time with his family due to the Heat's 11-10 record.

Make Up Your Mind Miguel

After requesting to be traded at the end of last week it seems Miguel Tejada has changed his tune. I swear between Schizo Ramirez and Manic Tejada there is never a dull moment.

Jeter's getting pissed

It seems that Derek Jeter is getting pissed off because of the lack of moves thus far during the offseason for the Yankees. What's the matter Derek, Steinnuts spends his ass of every year, maybe a payroll of 300 million would suit your fancy. The fact is, your reign is over. Face it, what made your team great in the late 90's was lack of ego's on the team. You were a pup back then and got a lot of the credit. You're starting to become a "has been". Why don't you tell the brass to stop going after the high dollar free agents and stick to the way you built your team in the 90's, by way of the farm system!!! Get a life!!

Adam Morrison is the Man

Morrison scored 25 today against Oklahoma State and no shot was bigger in the game then the one with 2.5 seconds left on the clock. Gonzaga was down 62-61 with 9 seconds left and Adam Morrison took the ball the length of the court and bombed a three that kissed off the backboard and went in. The Zags won 64-62 and Morrison continues to show why many think he is the best caucasian player since Larry Bird.

Pete Carroll Staying Put

At least for now and he absolutely should stay with USC. Pete Carroll has created a dominant progam and is shooting for his third straight national championship. I think Pete made a smart decision by not entertaining the NFL again at this time because I sure do remember his NFL days and they were not pretty!

Duke vs Texas - #1 against #2

This should be really exciting. It's not to often that you get such a powerhouse match up this early in the season, but today we do. Texas has looked extremely solid on all aspects of their game and to date Duke has not. The Blue Devils have basically played to the cailber of the team they were matched up against and it took a last second shot to win one of them. This game will totally live up to the hype and in the end Duke will prevail.

Soriano AKA Vagabond

Why can't this man get any props? He is a perennial all star and yet no one wants to keep him on their squad. His glove is a little questionable yet his bat is extremely potent nonetheless tonight he was traded to the Washingtion Nationals for Brad Wilkerson and some bozos. I think something to consider is will this trade make either team significantly better and after one second of thought the answer is no. Alfonso Soriano

Don't FU@% with me

That's exactly what Roger Clemens is saying to the Astros who pretty much dissed him by not offering arbitration. I can understand why, but would you mess with Roger Clemens? Too bad, Rogers Kid is in the Astros organization as a catcher and it would have been nice to see him throw to his son in spring training, oh well.

Heisman Party Announced

Bush, Young and Leinart were invited to this weekend's shindig. These three young men were the clear cut star players, but no Brady Quinn? Sure he has next year to shine, but he played his ass of this year and deserves to go. I know we can all think back to previous Heisman announcements and said...what the H...or who the H is that?? Heisman Trophy

Barnett = Buffoon

It appears Colorado has decided to not retain Gary Barnett, but it's news to him. Gary, let me in on a little secret....IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME! You have been involved in scandals and black clouds for most of your tenure AND you just lost the Big 12 Championship by 67 points!!! Get out of Boulder while you can and please don't act like you are SURPRISED! Colorado Buffaloes

Nick Lachey is a moron

Nick really needs to stop covering college football games and Linking to

Matt Leinart and start concentrating more on his soon to be ex-wife.....ouch

Only In America

Answer this for me, how can a pitcher who has never won more than 12 games in his career and has a life time e.r.a. near 4, get a 55 million dollar contract? It's subpar and AJ Burnett is overpaid. This signing is last year's Carl Pavano contract. Give me a break!

Jimmy V Classic

Jim Valvano was one of the strongest and most admirable men that has ever lived. God bless the cause his family is dedicated to helping with their fight against cancer foundation. Don't give up...don't ever give up!

Grady Little Back from the Dead

Just minutes ago the Dodgers announced they have hired Grady Little as their new manager. Grady was last seen as the manager for the Red Sox when they lost the 2003 ALCS to those damn Yankees. Grady did well with the Sox, but I'm not quite sure Los Angeles has the talent Boston had in 2003. I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Drew Rosenhaus Fired

Word is out that Javon Walker has separated ties with controversial agent Drew Rosenhaus. If we remember back to earlier this year, Jevon Walker threatened to hold out because of Drew and then blew out his knee due to not working out with the Packers. My only hope is more players come to their senses and walk away from the human ass!

Blue Jays Making A Splash

It seems the Jays and the Mets are trying to make the most noise this offseason. One week are signing young stud closer B.J. Ryan Toronto has now signed A.J. Burnett for five years 55 million. I truly respect what the Jays are trying to do, but can they really compete in the AL East with New York and Boston? NO!!!!

The Seattle Seahawks

Has there been, in recent years, a quieter 10-2 team than the Seattle Seahawks? As they get ready to completely dismantle the Eagles, I ask the question, how far can this team go? We hear an awful lot about the Panthers, Bears and Giants, what about the Seahawks? They have the best record in the NFC. They've sucked in the playoffs in recent years and have been incredibly dissapointing. But they're 10-2, clinched their division and are in the drivers seat to a first round bye and possibly home field throughout. Holla!!

Yankees $uck

The Yankees lost money last year, almost 80 million. Being a Boston Red Sox fan, I truly get joy out of watching King George lose money. He's a frigging idiot as are Yankee Fans. Get a life!!! George Blows!!

There's a New Sheriff in Town

and his name is Carson Palmer. Bye, bye Ben and the Steelers. The Bengals took care of business at Heinze Field and finally the Steelers have been dethroned. I like the Bengals, I don't like that they gave up almost 400 yards passing to a subpar QB but time will tell. They can really go deep in the Playoffs but the defense must play better. Bengals Rule

Peerless Price Cut Again

Big 12 Championship is Big Joke

Texas beat Colorado today 70-3 in the conference championship. It is inexcusable for a game so important to be so one sided. The game today directly indicates just how weak the Big 12 was this year. I would be embarassed if I was a team in the Big 12 today unless of course you are Texas.

Summary: Texas Longhorns

Chad Johnson Fined

The NFL dinged Chad Johnson's wallet for his touchdown celebration last week when he used a pylon as a putter on the football. The fine was for $5000 and it's certainly not the first time he has been fined and MOST definitely will not be the last.

Tarheel Triumph

They very young North Carolina Tarheels went to Rupp Arena today and beat the Wildcats 83-79. Reyshawn Terry scored 25 points and David Noel scored 15. This was an extremely impressive win for the Heels and look for them to take this win over a #10 team and build upon it. North Carolina

With my Mind on $ and $ on my Mind

It seems as if Mr. Michael Irvin will not be on the NFL Countdown show this weekend because of the crack smoking pipes found in his vehicle. What a shame, but hey, he forgot to dispose of them!!! Have you seen this man?

If you never did while he was at Auburn you will be sure to see him this year. His name is Marco Killingsworth and he is a senior with the Indiana Hoosiers. He poured in 34 points and ripped down 10 boards against the Blue Devils. This man is a beast and I look forward to watching more Indiana games this year.
